Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the supply of ecommerce audit services by RIPE ("we", "us", "our") to you, the client ("you", "your"). By booking an audit, you agree to these Terms.
RIPE is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@ripeaudits.com.
1. Our services
RIPE provides ecommerce store audits. Depending on the option you select, an audit may include a review of your customer journey, revenue and AOV, data and behaviour, and (where selected) email and retention flows. Each audit is delivered as a Notion report, a recorded video walkthrough, and a prioritised roadmap.
The audit is a diagnostic and advisory service. We identify issues and provide prioritised recommendations. We do not implement changes to your store unless separately agreed in writing.
2. What's not included
Our audits do not cover paid advertising, SEO strategy, social media, financial performance, legal or compliance review, or implementation of recommendations, except where expressly stated. A fuller description of scope and exclusions is provided before you book.
3. Booking and payment
- Payment is due 100% upfront before work begins.
- Prices are as displayed at the time of booking. The Core audit and Core + Email audit are each a one-off fee.
- Work begins once payment has cleared and you have provided the access described below.
4. Your responsibilities
To deliver the audit, you agree to:
- Provide timely, read-only access to your store and any relevant connected tools (such as analytics platforms)
- Ensure you have the authority to grant this access
- Provide accurate information in response to reasonable requests
Where access or information is delayed, our delivery timeline may be extended accordingly.
5. Delivery timeline
We aim to deliver each audit within 5 business days of receiving payment and the access required. This is a target, not a guarantee, and may be affected by delays in access, the complexity of your store, or circumstances outside our control.
6. Data and confidentiality
When we access your store, we may handle personal data belonging to your customers. In doing so we act as a data processor on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. We treat all information about your business as confidential and use it only to deliver the audit.
7. Refunds
Because the audit is a bespoke service involving significant work and access to your confidential data, fees are non-refundable once work has begun. If you cancel before work begins, we will refund your payment in full. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your audit, contact us at info@ripeaudits.com and we will work with you in good faith to address it.
8. Intellectual property
The audit report, walkthrough, and roadmap we deliver are provided for your use within your business. You may share them with your team or developers to act on the recommendations. The underlying frameworks, methods, and templates we use to produce the audit remain our intellectual property.
9. Limitation of liability
Our recommendations are based on our professional judgement and the information available to us at the time. We do not guarantee specific results, including any particular increase in conversion rate, revenue, or other metrics. Any figures shown on our website, including in the payback calculator, are illustrative examples and not promises of performance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with the services is limited to the fees you have paid for the relevant audit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or revenue. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you book is the version that applies to your audit.
